I was so impressed to see how the basic principles of your non-diet philosophy can be directly applied to many other problems - specifically dealing with depression, anxiety, & panic disorder. Your philosophy behind the non diet approach is so multidimensional. The principles are the same healthy tools needed to overcome more issues than just dieting alone.

What is really nice about your book is that you can look at it from many different perspectives - whether it is the perspective of needing to improve your body, your mind, or spirit - there is something positive and important to take from your basic principles regardless. It will be of immense help to so many people, even if they do not have dieting issues.

Your book will go along so perfectly with support groups. It would be a great guide for the facilitator of the group to use with the members - not to mention that it would also help more people get more out of the book - in a group setting they would be able to learn more about themselves through helping others.

Your "taking it deeper" sections of the book are so perfect - it really allows the reader to take everything to the next level - beyond the level of "this is what someone else experienced" to "how does that make me feel, how does it relate to me".

You are about to start life all over again, without the burden of the diet mentality. Or, maybe you've already shucked that mentality and opted for a saner, healthier, way to live. Because the diet rollercoaster-dieting, going off the diet, feeling guilty and worthless, going back on the diet-is no way to go through life. Whether you're off it or trying to dismount, you need support; that's what this book is all about.

Stopped exercising? Find yourself eating a lot more sweets? Is Jenny Craig starting to look like the only solution? I know how tough it is to fend off the urge to diet in the face of the constant pressure from the multi-billion dollar weight loss and advertising industries. Not to mention the demands of your busy life which make it hard to find the time to exercise and eat right. But try this book first.
