E-commerce FAQ and Instructions Your satisfaction and security We have been able to make it convenient for our customers to order merchandise over the Internet in a safe manner using the Miva Merchant Storefront system. We use the current Internet standard, SSL encryption, to send your order to our secure server. You can tell you have a secure connection by viewing the special lock icon at the bottom line of your web browser -- either a yellow key in Microsoft Explorer or a blue padlock in Netscape Navigator. We suggest you print out a copy of your order form before submitting it for your records. Payment We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards and checks. Credit cards are processed immediately and checks are cleared before orders are processed.The e-commerce option for orders and payment will email your order to us with credit card information. If you elect to pay by check, your order will be emailed with your check number. Other options for order / payment are the following: To provide your credit card information over the phone with your emailed order, complete the payment option of your order with check #0000, and call us at 1 800 565 4847 to supply your credit information. Please reference the order number generated by the e-commerce system. However we welcome international orders as well. Please email us at HUGS for the specific shipping costs that may be added to your order. How to Purchase There are generally two ways of accessing products and services from our store Diet Freedom. You can surf through the store starting at the Store Front following the categories provided to find items. As you are presented with items to consider, you have the options of Buy One Now or Add One To Basket. The former will take you directly to the checkout routine for purchase. The latter will cumulate items in a shopping basket file which you can review and edit at any time by selecting the menu bar Basket Contents. The descriptions of products and services at the store are by necessity brief and to the point. The second way to order products and services from the store, is to follow the "Purchase" links provided in the more descriptive pages of products and services found in the sidebar menus. These "Purchase" links take you directly to the shelf in the store where the product or service resides. You can then select the item as "Add One To Basket". For example, if after reviewing the detailed description of the book "You Count Calories Don't" you decide to purchase it, simply follow the links "To Purchase Click Here" provided on that page. After "adding it to the basket", you can return (using the screen top left "Back") to the originating page for further addition of other products and services to the basket. The contents of the basket can be reviewed and edited at any time through the sidebar menu Contents. After you have made all your additions to the basket either through surfing the categories at the store, or selecting purchase links in the detailed descriptive pages, you can initiate the purchase routine by selecting Checkout form the top menu bar in the store or the Checkout sidebar menu. As the first step in checkout, you have an option to "Create New Account". If you plan to return to our store a number of times, it might be worthwhile to follow this option up. It will record your shipping and contact information so that it need not to be keyed in next time. Otherwise, Checkout is continued with the selection of "Place Order Without Account". After recording the required shipping information, the method of payment is selected to complete the order. If limited e-commerce options are elected as described under Payment above, the order form should be printed at this time and forwarded to Hugs International where appropriate shipping charges will be added. Otherwise, complete the e-commerce information then print the order for your own records.
