HUGS is a great, perhaps one of the few, alternatives to chronic dieting. It's a positive approach to eating and exercise. Believing in this, the HUGS program needs to be available in Southern California. Too many people, especially women, are stuck in a lifestyle of diet obsession , negative body image and, as a result, poor self esteem. This trend must be reversed.

As a registered dietitian for over 20 years, Susan Vittek, RD's experience with diet and health and how it relates to disease is extensive. After employment at a southern California medical center for over 15 years, Ms. Vittek is now involved as a consultant and business owner of Hi-tek Nutrition. "Dietitian" is the only legal title in the California state business code relating specifically to a nutrition care provider.
